Legendary singer and songwriter Barry Manilow was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Thursday.
“Following a triumphant sold out concert in Memphis, Barry Manilow was rushed back to Los Angeles due to complications from emergency oral surgery … on Monday,” a post on his Facebook page stated.
Two upcoming concerts for his One Last Time – One Last Tour in Tennessee were being re-scheduled. Manilow may also be forced to skip the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony, the post stated.
Manilow was nominated for his 15th Grammy Award for his album, “My Dream Duets,” according to Billboard Magazine.
The 72-year-old performer is best known for songs such as “Copacabana”, “Weekend in New England,” “I Write The Songs,” “Looks Like We Made It,” “Mandy,” “It’s a Miracle” and “Could It Be Magic,” according to IMBD.
