A man who had disappeared in Los Angeles County in late May has been found, authorities announced Thursday.

“Thank you to the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Mr. Tran,” said the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

At the time, 26-year-old Cong Toanhoang Tran was last seen on May 26 on the 2100 block of Sparrow Hill Lane in Lakewood around 7 p.m.

Authorities believed he may have been heading to the Cerritos Mall or the Los Angeles area for upcoming Pride events.
