San Bernardino County deputies have seized more than 600 pounds of methamphetamine and 20 guns, the Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.
The seizures, which occurred from Feb. 10 through 16, are the latest in the ongoing Operation Consequences, which resulted in dozens of felony arrests and the discoveries of more than 120 guns and large quantities of narcotics in January and February, officials said.
According to the SBSD, the following locations were searched:
- 12500 block of 18th St., San Bernardino
- 1500 block of Lassen St., Redlands
- 2700 block of Villa St., Highland
- 7200 block of Stoney Creek St., Highland
- 25000 block of Court St., Loma Linda
- 8100 block of Colusa Road, Adelanto
- 25500 block of Cheryle St., Barstow
At these sites, “investigators seized over 600 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, and 22 firearms, five of which were ghost guns,” the SBSD said in a news release.
“A total of 17 felony arrests were made,” officials added.
Images shared by the SBSD show assault rifles, pistols, extended magazines, cash, ammunition, narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Officials say they plan to find more.
“Operation Consequences will take place over the next several months to curb violent crime, disrupt and dismantle targeted criminal street gangs, and locate and arrest criminals who are illegally possessing, manufacturing, and trafficking firearms,” the SBSD said.
