Authorities are investigating after two people were shot in Hawthorne Tuesday afternoon.
The shooting, with occurred at about 3 p.m. near the intersection of West 139th Street and Doty Avenue, required two people to be transported to a local hospital, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The identities, ages and genders of the victims has not yet been disclosed.
The Hawthorne Police Department is investigating.
