Two people were killed and three others critically injured when two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision in Lake View Terrace overnight.
The crash was reported shortly before 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 11200 block of North Wheatland Avenue, the Los Angeles Fire Department stated in a news alert.
Emergency personnel responded to find five patients, according to the Fire Department.
Two were pronounced dead at the scene and three others were taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The victim’s have not been identified pending family notification.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
