A suspected burglar caught with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and hundreds of dollars in cash was arrested by patrol officers at the Glendale Galleria over the weekend, police said.

The incident occurred Sunday night when security reported seeing the suspect with stolen goods and called police.

Responding officers caught the suspect who was trying to flee the Galleria, the Police Department posted Tuesday on X, formerly Twitter.

Police said they recovered more than $10,000 in merchandise and over $800 in cash from the suspect.

“SUPREME police work by #GlendalePD patrol,” the Police Department posted, alluding to the Supreme clothing merchandise that was taken.

The suspect, who was not identified, was booked on suspicion of burglary.
