One person was injured when a vehicle crashed into an El Pollo Loco in Sunland on Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash occurred at 7834 Foothill Blvd. just before 3 p.m., Erik Scott of the Fire Department said.
The person hurt had injuries that were not life threatening, Scott said.
The vehicle that crashed into the fast-food restaurant’s wall was a pickup truck with some kind of maintenance equipment in its bed, aerial video from Sky5 showed. A minivan and a sedan appeared to also be seriously damaged.
City building inspectors were called to determine if the structure was sound.
