Decades after America’s entry into World War II and the subsequent internment of Japanese-Americans, three U.S. veterans reflect on the war and being sent to internment camps despite their U.S. citizenship. The city of Alhambra’s entry into the 126th Rose Parade honors their service and remembers those who died fighting for their country. The entry is entitled “Go for Broke,” the battle cry of Japanese-American soldiers in WWII. Frank Buckley reports for the KTLA 5 News.
