Filmmaker Alice Gu, Donut Princess LA creator Mayly Tao and Ted Ngoy’s great niece, joined the KTLA 5 News live to discuss the new documentary, “The Donut King.”
The documentary follows the journey of Ted Ngoy, a Cambodian refugee who built a multi-million dollar doughnut empire across the West Coast. “The Donut King” premieres on PBS’s “Independent Lens,” at 10 p.m. May 24.
