Does this look familiar? It’s familiar to folks who’ve seen the Oscar winning movie “The Grand Budapest Hotel.” We can see the bright pink, nine foot by 14-foot miniature model used in the Oscar winning movie created by Oscar winning production designer Adam Stockhausen at the Hollywood Museum.

And, while talking about the Academy Awards, the Academy teaches us about the business and creativity involved in costume design at the exhibit Hollywood Costume. This is the last weekend to see the multimedia exhibition featuring 150 iconic costumes from Hollywood’s Golden Age through the present at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, at Wilshire Boulevard and Fairfax.
