After a friend brought over Tanghulu from Koreatown, Jessica decided to make her own at home.

“They were strawberries, grapes and Mandarin oranges and I could not stop thinking about these fruit skewers. I loved them so much!” Jessica gushed.

Armed with some fruit, sugar, honey and a candy thermometer, she tried her hand at making candied fruit.

If you try this at home, Jessica recommends a fruit with less water so the sugar will adhere to it. Also, make sure your fruit is really dry when you dip it into the hot sugar.
