An 11-year-old boy reported missing Friday has been found safe, according to the Pomona Police Department.

Adam Hernandez was described as being in “good health” and not injured, according to a statement from police. The boy ran away from his foster home and was later taken to a Department of Children & Family Services office in Glendora on Friday morning by his biological father, police said.

The boy was last seen about 6 p.m. Thursday in front of an apartment complex in Pomona, according to the initial “critical missing child” news alert. In Friday’s statement, police said the child “had not been the victim of an abduction or any crime.”
