Friends and family of a missing Menifee man organized a search party for him Saturday, a week after his absence was first reported to law enforcement.
Paul Christian Snyder was reported as an at-risk missing adult on Oct. 29 after he had not been seen or heard from in several days, according to the Menifee Police Department. The area he was last seen in was searched but Snyder was not located, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.
On Saturday, a volunteer search party planned to comb the area from 7 a.m. through dusk. According to a Facebook event posted for the search effort, he was last seen Oct. 27.
Snyder suffers from several medical conditions including congestive heart failure, anxiety and bipolar disorder, deputies said. They believe he is currently without medication and traveling on foot.
Snyder is described as a Caucasian male with brown hair and blue eyes, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 175 pounds. He may be carrying a black backpack and using a black-and-silver mountain bike, according to the Facebook page.
Snyder is a father and soon-to-be grandfather, the event posting states.
