Game of Thrones dominated the first night of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, taking home nine awards including Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series on Saturday.

“I must say I care about this show, I think this show is very well done,” said Max Von Sydow, who played the Three-Eyed Raven in the series. “There’s so much talent on every category. I’m very impressed.”

Rachel Bloom, of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, was recognized for her off-camera work, receiving nominations for Outstanding Original Main Title Music and Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics, according to Variety.

Although the 29-year-old actress didn’t win in either category, she had a joyful attitude about her nominations.

“I work actually very hard, and I’m very happy to be here, and I look forward to crushing the competition,” Bloom said jokingly before the show.

Margo Martindale, of The Americans, won Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series and her competitor, Allison Janney, told KTLA that she’s honored to be nominated with such skilled actresses before the show.

“This category is kind of crazy, it’s some of my favorite actresses of all time,” said Janney. “I just saw Margo and I adore her. It actually, truly is great to be in that group of women so whatever happens.”

House of Card’s Michael Kelly was a presenter at the famed award show. He told KTLA he was excited to enjoy the evening, support his co-stars and relax in Los Angeles for the weekend with his wife.

“There’s no pressure, I can have a great weekend with my wife in Los Angeles, nice hotel, nice flight out,” said Kelly. “Anything else that happens is icing on the cake. Getting the nomination, you know, that’s a win.”

The Creative Arts Emmys continue on Sunday. An edited presentation of the show will air on FXX on Sept. 17, according to Variety.
