Pedro Aguirre Borda, 61, was taken into custody about 5:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 11500 block of Braddock Drive on two felony charges of child molestation, according to an LAPD news release.

The alleged abuse occurred in 2007, when Borda was 52 years old, the release stated.

The initial case was reported that same year, but no charges were filed. A second case, also from 2007, was reported this year, according to LAPD.

Recently, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed warrants in the two cases.

The victims were 5 and 3 at the time of the alleged molestation, according to police.

“All of the incidents occurred at Braddock Drive where his wife also runs a daycare center,” the LAPD release stated.

Borda’s bail was set at $1.2 million, according to police.
