The crash was reported just before 11 p.m. in the 17300 block of Huntington Boulevard, Lt. Rodriguez with the Huntington Beach Police Department confirmed.

A vehicle was headed northbound on Huntington Boulevard when the driver crossed over the median strip and went into the southbound lanes, Rodriguez said.

The driver then slammed into six vehicles and caused multiple injuries, Rodriguez said.

It was unclear how many people were injured in the crash, but all of the injuries were minor, Rodriguez said.

Video from the scene showed one of the damaged cars had an Uber sticker on the windshield.

The wrong-way driver, who was not immediately identified, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, Rodriguez said.
