PUPPY 4a

Want to cuddle with a cute little puppy but don’t feel like a long term commitment to the responsibility of owning a pet? Look no further than the Uber app!

Through a new program called UberPUPPY, you can get a pack of dainty little dogs delivered on-demand to your home or office. Uber says it’s like having “your own personal Puppy Bowl.”

The dogs are available in Los Angeles and Orange County on just one day only – Wednesday, February 3 from 11 AM until 2 PM. During this time, you can open the Uber app to find the special PUPPY icon. According to an Uber blog post:

If you’re lucky, a puppy squad and their coaches will come by for a cuddle huddle, and you’ll be charged $30

So, it seems not everyone is guaranteed to get the dogs on demand, but if you can get your paws on your smartphone, there’s a good chance of cuddling come Wednesday.

And, before you bark over the idea of delivery dogs, know that Uber has teamed up with “Animal Planet, the SF SPCA, Peninsula Humane Society, and Berkeley Humane Society” to make this program happen. All you have to do – is go fetch a ball.
