Emergency dispatchers received a call around 3:15 p.m. requesting an ambulance for a male experiencing a medical emergency at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada, according to a news release from the Nye County Sheriff’s Office.

The patient, identified as Lamar Odom, was transported to Desert View Hospital, the release stated.

After being stabilized, the plan was to airlift the 35-year-old to another hospital, but because of his height they were unable to do that, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Instead, Odom was immediately transported by ambulance to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas for further treatment.

“He doesn’t look good,” brothel owner Dennis Hof said. “He doesn’t look like he’ll make it and if he does, he won’t be the same.”

Odom’s hospitalization was first reported by TMZ, which stated the former NBA star was in a coma and was breathing with the assistance of a ventilator.

No official word on his condition was released.

Hof said Odom arrived at the ranch on Saturday night around 6 or 7 p.m.

He wanted to get away and have fun, Hof said in a statement to KTLA.

“The girls at the ranch saw him at 6 a.m. and he was fine,” Hof stated.

But at 3:30 p.m, two girls went into Odom’s room and found him unconscious, he said.

They alerted the management, who called 911.

“They were advised to roll him on his side and a bunch of ‘nasty stuff came puking out of him,'” Hof stated.

Hof told the Los Angeles Times that Odom was taking herbal Viagra, but was not seen with any illegal drugs.

Odom played for four teams during his 14 seasons in the NBA and was named the “Sixth Man of the Year” for the 2010-11 season.

He was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in 1999, where he played four seasons before signing with the Miami Heat.

After one season in Miami, Odom was traded to the Lakers along with several other players for Shaquille O’Neal.

Odom was a key part of the Lakers championship teams in 2009 and 2010.

“We are aware of the reports but have no information to share at this time,” Lakers spokesman John Black said.

In 2011, he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks and six months later was dealt back to the Clippers.

Odom was also married to reality star Khloe Kardashian in 2009 and the two had their own show, “Khloe & Lamar,” which lasted two seasons and 20 episodes.

Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, and two years later the couple signed divorce papers.
