April is World Wish Month, a time to commemorate the month when the first wish was granted.
On April 29, 1980, Christopher Greicius, an energetic 7-year-old boy battling leukemia, received his wish of becoming a police officer. Today, Make-A-Wish has been granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in 50 countries across five continents all over the world.

Wish kid Camille Boudreau joined us live with her mom Josette Murphy to share details on her extraordinary wish experience. Make-A-Wish planned the ultimate animal encounter at Nurtured by Nature in San Diego.

For more information on ways to help Make-A-Wish Los Angeles, visit wish.org/KTLA or follow the organization on XFacebook and Instagram.
