A 60-year-old man was shot to death in the Reseda area of the San Fernando Valley Monday evening, and police are seeking the person responsible.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was found after a shooting was reported in the 7500 block of Jamieson Avenue at about 7:20 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department said in a news release.

He was found “on the street suffering from gunshot wounds,” but he may have been attacked while in or near his car, as “the victim’s vehicle also had multiple gunshot impacts on the passenger side,” police said.

Footage from the scene shows at least two bullet holes in the side of a white van, as well as a shattered passenger window.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.
