Chick-fil-A is warning customers that one of its popular sauces may be contaminated and customers should throw it out.

According to the restaurant chain, Polynesian sauce packets that were taken home between Feb. 14 and 27 should be discarded. Stores have thrown out their sauce packages, according to an email from Chick-fil-A.

The reason? What is advertised as Polynesian sauce “may contain a different sauce that includes wheat and soy allergens,” the company said.

Chick-fil-A’s Sweet and Spicy Sriracha sauce contains those two allergens.

“We understand and take seriously the trust our guests place in us to make sure your food is what you order, and we apologize for this experience,” the email added.

The company did not respond to KTLA’s multiple requests for comment.
