(KRON) — The San Francisco 49ers will have one of their best offensive weapons available for Sunday’s NFC Championship. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been cleared with “no restrictions,” head coach Kyle Shanahan said Friday in a news conference.
Samuel left last Saturday’s divisional game against the Packers with a shoulder injury and did not play in the second half. He was also evaluated for a head injury earlier that game but was cleared shortly after.
“It’s huge,” Shanahan said. “A little scary in the beginning of the week, but the fact he was able to go full go today and no restrictions is definitely a good thing for us.”
There was uncertainty throughout the week as to whether or not Samuel would be able to play.
