Authorities are searching for three people involved in an armed robbery Tuesday morning at a Denny’s restaurant in Pomona.
Police received 911 calls about the robbery in the 1500 block of Gillette Road (map) at about 12:21 a.m., according to a news release from the Pomona Police Department.
The three robbers entered the restaurant brandishing firearms and wearing bandanas over their faces, according to the news release.
Employees and customers were forced to give up their cash and personal property before the robbers ran from the restaurant and drove off in teal or blue passenger car that was waiting outside, police stated.
The restaurant is located near an onramp to the westbound 10 Freeway, but police said it was unclear what direction the robbers may have gone.
