Investigators sought Wednesday more potential victims of a 63-year-old Santa Barbara resident who was recently charged with allegedly sexually molesting five victims ages 2 to 14 years old.

Joseph Michael Hyde was arrested on Sept. 10 after a two month investigation into allegations of child molestation, according to a Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Hyde was believed to have multiple victims spanning several decades in the city of Santa Barbara, southern Santa Barbara County and Oregon.

He was charged with multiple counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child and showing pornography to a child.

Sheriff’s detectives believed there could be more victims and asked that anyone with information contact the departments Criminal Investigations Division at 805-681-4150 or the anonymous tip-line at 805-681-4171.
