Two people were killed and three others injured in a two-car collision in Sylmar that authorities believe may have been the result of street racing.
The crash occurred just before 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 14000 block of San Fernando Road, according to Eric Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Authorities were looking for a third vehicle believed to be involved in the incident, police at the scene said.
The vehicle was described only as a small silver car.
