Authorities were searching Friday for possible additional victims of a former day care teacher arrested for alleged lewd acts on a 3-year-old family member.

Thomas Burke Pulver was charged in Norwalk on Tuesday with eight felony counts in connection with the case, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

During the investigation, detectives learned that the 36-year-old was previously employed as a teacher at a day care center and several other Orange County locations, the release stated.

The information led investigators in L.A. County to become concerned that there may be additional victims in other jurisdictions.

Pulver was being held on $2.4 million bail.

If convicted, he faced up to 15 years to life in prison.

Anyone with information about Pulver or whose child had contact with him was urged to contact their local law enforcement agency.
