A DUI investigation was underway after a car collided with an ambulance Monday night in Stanton, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said.
Three people were transported to a hospital following the incident, which occurred about 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Garden Grove and Beach boulevards (map), according to the Garden Grove Fire Department.
The extent of their injuries and their conditions were not immediately known.
News video showed tow trucks removing the ambulance and the car, a gray four-door, from the scene. The front ends of both vehicles had sustained significant damage.
