Two men were arrested after allegedly using heroin in a restroom at a Chuck E. Cheese’s in Costa Mesa, authorities said Thursday.

Officers were dispatched shortly after 7 p.m. to the restaurant, located at 2300 Harbor Boulevard, where they found 28-year-old Collin P. Zborowski and 27-year-old Daniel Lubach inside a stall in the men’s room, police said.

“Both males were observed in the process of smoking heroin,” according to a press release from the Costa Mesa Police Department.

The officers arrested both men, who were under the influence, and confiscated drug paraphernalia and a small amount of heroin, the press release said.

The suspects were pre-booked at the Costa Mesa Police Department jail.

Zborowski was then transported to the Orange Couny jail in Santa Ana, where he was booked for felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor under influence of controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, authorities said. Lubach, who booked for a lesser charge of misdemeanor under influence of controlled substance, was released on a written promise to appear in court.

It was unclear if either man had attempted to sell narcotics to others at the Chuck E. Cheese’s location, the Police Department said.
