A home in Pacoima was engulfed in flames on Sunday, the Los Angeles Fire Department announced on Twitter. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters were able to put out the flames in less than 30 minutes. The threat of fire danger increases as temperatures skyrocket in Southern California.

Excessive heat warnings have been issued for areas in Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
