A man who allegedly shot another man during a fight inside a Glendora Vons Monday night was arrested hours after the violent encounter, police said.
Emergency crews were called to the store in the area of Grand Avenue and Foothill Boulevard around 9 p.m., Glendora police said.
Responders found the victim at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound, a Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesperson confirmed.
The victim was taken to Pomona Valley Medical Center with a gunshot wound.
An investigation revealed that a fight broke out between the suspect, identified as Larry Ronnie Bravo, and the unidentified victim.
Bravo allegedly shot the victim while inside the store and fled.
“Glendora Detectives determined the incident was not a random act of violence but occurred as a result of an ongoing domestic dispute,” police said in a news release Tuesday afternoon. They did not elaborate on a possible motive.
Bravo was arrested in Pomona around noon Tuesday.
No further details about the incident or the investigation were released.
