Riverside County is investigating the treatment of the 13 children who were rescued from a home in Perris, where they had been abused by their parents for years. On top of how the Turpin siblings were treated by the social services system after they were removed from the home in 2018, there are also questions of about why the abuse was able to go on for so long.
