A grass fire in Lincoln Heights burned three homes in the 100 block of N. Ave. 18 on Saturday afternoon before firefighters knocked it down, the Los Angeles Fire Department announced.
The fire began on the grass behind the homes before it spread to the structures, and 113 firefighters battled the blaze for just over an hour before it was put out.
One firefighter experienced a “non-life-threatening medical problem” at the scene of the fire, but they were evaluated by paramedics and released without needing to visit a hospital, the LAFD said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the LAFD.
