A missing 19-year-old woman who was being sought by Los Angeles police and her family has returned home, authorities said Wednesday.
Janet Ji Young Choi had last been seen at her home just before noon Saturday, Sept. 14., and never arrived at her art school class later that day, according to a news release issued Monday by the Los Angeles Police Department.
“This is very unusual for Ms. Choi,” the LAPD release stated. “Ms. Choi’s family is extremely worried and concerned for her safety.”
A statement from LAPD issued Wednesday morning said simply, “Choi has returned home to her family.”
