A body matching the description of a missing 5-year-old boy who disappeared from the Discovery Park area of Sacramento Monday has been located, police confirmed late Tuesday morning.

Identification of the body is still pending confirmation by the Sacramento County Coroners office, but it was pulled from from a river near where the boy went missing, KTLA sister station KTXL in Sacramento reported.

Police have been searching for Zion Jamar Butler since he disappeared on Memorial Day during a gathering with family members around a pop-up tent on Tiscornia Beach, Sacramento Regional Parks posted on Twitter.

“He was literally sitting down eating, and then he disappeared,” the boy’s aunt Rickisha Anderson told local television station KCRA.

Butler was wearing rainbow shorts, water socks and no shirt when he was last seen.
