Disneyland was briefly closed to new guests on Christmas during the afternoon, according to the theme park’s official in-park Twitter account.

Shortly after 1:15 p.m., Disneyland Today tweeted that the park was not allowing new guests inside, saying, “Many Guests are enjoying the Parks today.”

Guests who had already been admitted to Disneyland were allowed reentry to the park, however.

Access to Disneyland was available to all ticketed guests again about 90 minutes later, according to the account.

Disney California Adventure theme park remained open to new guests throughout the partial closure.

The Orange County Register cited overcrowding as the reason some were turned away, but reported that the day’s attendance figures were not available.
