A seventh-grade teacher at a school in the Orange County city of Placentia was recently arrested on suspicion of molesting a girl who was under 10 years old.
Christopher Millette, 36, was arrested New Year’s Eve around noon for allegedly engaging in “lewd and lascivious acts” with a child under 14 and for sexual penetration of a child under age 10, according to a Fullerton Police Department news release.
The alleged victim did not attend Valadez Middle School Academy, where Millette is a science teacher, but she was “known to the suspect,” police said.
“This case is not related to the school and there are no known victims associated with his employment,” the release stated.
