Olivia Carolee Culbreath, 21, had been in treatment in a jail ward at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center since she was injured in the Feb. 9 crash on the 60 Freeway.

Witnesses told California Highway Patrol investigators that Culbreath’s 2013 Chevrolet Camaro was going more than 100 mph in the wrong direction when the car collided with an SUV, killing a Huntington Park family of four.

The members of the family were identified as: Gregorio Mejia-Martinez, 47; his wife, Leticia Ibarra, 42; their daughter, Jessica Jasmine Mejia, 20; and Jessica’s grandmother, Ester Delgado.

Culbreath’s 24-year-old sister and a 21-year-old friend, who were riding in the Camaro, were also killed. They were identified as Maya Louise Culbreath of Rialto and Kristin Melissa Young of Chino.

Olivia Culbreath, a Fontana woman who was described as suffering a broken femur and a ruptured bladder, was charged with six counts of murder.

No DUI-related charges were filed against her, though investigators said there was evidence of alcohol at the scene.

She was transferred from the hospital to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles just before 2 a.m. Wednesday, county inmate records show. She was being held on $6 million bail.

No date had been set for Culbreath’s arraignment, which was expected to take place in Pomona Superior Court, according to a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District’s Attorney’s Office.
