There are now two great highlights from the newly established Toronto Blue Jays-Texas Rangers rivalry.
Last year, Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista’s emphatic bat flip during the teams’ American League division series after hitting a three-run home run against the Rangers in the series-clinching game in Toronto.
On Sunday in Texas, Bautista again was at the center of this next great moment in the rivalry after making a hard slide into second baseman Rougned Odor as the fielder was making a play on a possible double-play ball.
Odor took offense at the slide and pushed Bautista, prompting the Blue Jay to raise his arms in an offensive stance as the two men came together.

“It’s been in Ohio as early as the mid-1850s at least, brought in as an ornamental plant because of its unique foliage and white flowers,” Gardner said. “It was actually planted in people’s landscaping, and it has been spreading.”
