The 39th running of the Los Angeles Marathon, presented by ASICS, takes place on Sunday, March 17, 2024. The 26.2-mile course begins at Dodger Stadium and ends at Avenue of the Stars in Century City.

This year, KTLA’s Carlos Saucedo is running the marathon for the first time. He gives us a look at part of his marathon training journey. He also talks about the running community, specifically how the SoHo House Running Club has helped him stay motivated.

Saucedo gives us tips for first time runners that he’s picked up along the way. Some of that advice came from Nadia Ruiz, “Electrolit” athlete, and David Levine, head coach of LA Road Runners.

This segment aired on KTLA’s Off the Clock on March 14, 2024.
