A new interactive activity has opened at Super Nintendo World as Universal Studios Hollywood continues to celebrate the area’s first anniversary.

An interactive wall, located within the land’s Frosted Glacier area, is an in-world challenge for guests to collect digital coins.

“The premise is simple. Guests begin by punching the ? Block where one of four Power-Up items – Fire Flower, Ice Flower, Super Mushroom, or Super Star – appears on the screen. They then can tap the Power-Up item and use it by swiping or tapping to defeat Goombas and Red and Green Koopa Paratroopas or tapping brick blocks as they flash by, which earns them coins. The goal is to collect as many points as possible before the timed activity concludes,” a news release said.

Everyone is invited to try out the new fast-play activity whether they have a Power-up band or not.

In addition to the new activity, the land’s marquee attraction, “Mario Kart: Bower’s Challenge,” has been added to Universal Express, the park’s paid line-skipping service.
