New food festival, parade coming to the Disneyland Resort for Pixar Fest

A new food festival, parade and parties are coming to the Disneyland Resort in April for Pixar Fest, an event celebrating all things Pixar.

On Wednesday, the “Happiest Place on Earth” released more details about what visitors can expect to see and do during the event.


During Pixar Fest, guests can enjoy:

MagicBand+, a device with built-in LEDs and other technology, will also come to life with lights and vibrations synchronized to the music during the nighttime spectacular.

Theme park officials said that more details about the food coming to the various locations will be available at a later date. Other themed foods, like the Pixar Fest cake at Plaza Inn, will be available throughout the resort.

During Pixar Fest, guests can also encounter Pixar characters, buy new Pixar-themed merchandise, and see themed décor. Downtown Disney will also be involved in the festivities.

Pixar Fest runs from April 26 until Aug. 4.
