Disneyland Resort officials are sharing plans to build a permanent location for Earl of Sandwich, a new restaurant marketplace, and more in the Downtown Disney shopping district.

Earl of Sandwich, a popular sandwich shop among Disneyland guests, will have a permanent location in a two-story building where a quick-service window will be on the ground level with table service upstairs.

Details on when the permanent location will open in Downtown Disney haven’t been publicly announced. In the meantime, guests can still enjoy Earl of Sandwich when a temporary pop-up location opens near the Star Wars Trading Post.

Parkside Market, a new food hall, will be home to three new eateries coming to the outdoor shopping mall, Disneyland officials said.

The new location will be home to:

The new building will also have a second-story bar that will offer “great views of the district” and serve craft cocktails, mocktails and appetizers, according to the Disney Parks Blog.

Officials also shared new concept art for the new Tiendita quick-service restaurant, offering grab-and-go Mexican street food classics right next to Paseo and Centrico.

All three food concepts were created by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán and are slated to open in Downtown Disney during the spring.

Other restaurants including Din Tai Fung and Porto’s Bakery will also be coming to the outdoor mall.

During an OC Forum event in May, Disneyland Resort president Ken Potrock said the Downtown Disney transformation would take 18 months to complete. The 18-month timeline means officials hope to complete construction shortly before Thanksgiving next year, the Orange County Register reported.
