Disneyland announces new way guests can enjoy its fireworks display

On select nights starting April 5, 2024, guests in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be able to enjoy “Fire of the Rising Moons,” a nighttime experience that debuts a different view of the stunning Disneyland Park fireworks display, with musical accompaniment. Beginning in April, Disneyland guests can experience the park’s fireworks display in a new way.

At night, guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge can experience “Fire of the Rising Moons,” an experience that showcases a different view of Disneyland’s fireworks display, the theme park announced Wednesday.


The show can be experienced from multiple areas in the land, including the Black Spire Spaceport and the speeder garage.

The show will be accompanied by galactic music such as selections from composer John Williams’ Star Wars film scores. The “Fire of the Rising Moon” show will play on select nights beginning on April 5.

April 5 also marks the beginning of the Season of the Force celebration at Disneyland. The event, which runs until June 2, will include the return of Hyperspace Mountain, themed foods, merchandise and more.
