Video compiled by Royal Canadian Mounted Police investigators of a motorcycle pursuit through a mall in Surrey, British Columbia, was accidentally released and immediately went viral on the internet
The video, posted on YouTube on March 13, shows the pursuit as it winds through the streets of Surrey and then into the Guildford Town Centre mall, according to the CBC.
In the video, the motorcyclist can be seen riding down an escalator with a security guard in pursuit.
Police confirmed to the CBC that the video was created for use in the investigation into the Feb. 20 incident.
It was not clear how the video became public.
