A registered sex offender in Texas who was charged Friday in connection with the sexual assault of a teenager has also been accused of raping a toddler and giving both of the girls HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases, according to authorities and reports.

David Richard Wilson, 33, was arrested at his home Wednesday in connection with the sexual assault of a teenage girl last month, according to a news release from the Houston Police Department.

The 14-year-old girl was picked up by Wilson in a truck on Sept. 12, taken to another location and allegedly sexually assaulted inside the vehicle, the release stated.

The victim told police she had been sexually assaulted by Wilson several other times in the area, Houston police said.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the girl had reported to a caseworker at the local Children’s Assessment Center that she had sex with Wilson and was pregnant. She also tested positive for HIV and herpes, law enforcement officials told the newspaper.

Wilson was taken into custody without incident. He allegedly admitted to police that he had sexually assaulted the victim a number of times over the past couple of years, according to the release. He also allegedly told them that he had “intimate relations” with other unidentified females.

The suspect has also been accused of sexually assaulting his niece when she was just under the age of 2, according to Houston television station KTRK.

The toddler was diagnosed with multiple sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV, herpes and Chlamydia, the newspaper reported. Authorities told the paper that doctors performed genital reconstruction surgery on the toddler as a result of the infections.

Wilson was tested positive for HIV after the toddler was diagnosed, and his test came back positive, according to KTRK.

He has been charged with “super aggravated sexual assault” of a child, according to police.

Harris County inmate records showed he was being held on two charges–sexually assaulting a person between the ages of 14 and 17, and super aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 6.

Wilson is a registered sex offender, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Sex Offender Registry. He was convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in 2004, the registry showed.

Houston investigators have urged other possible victims to come forward with information that could lead to more charges.
