Las Vegas, Nevada, police have released surveillance video of a gray or silver sedan in the hunt for a suspect in the fatal shooting of a local woman after an alleged road rage incident.

Tammy Meyers, a 44-year-old mother of four, was on her way home after giving her teenage daughter a driving lesson in the parking lot of a school on Thursday when police say she had a near-collision with another vehicle, triggering an argument between Meyers and the male driver of the other car.

Meyers and her daughter drove home and sometime later, the suspect’s vehicle showed up, multiple shots were fired, and Meyers was struck in the head by one round. Meyers was rushed to the hospital, where she died on Valentine’s Day after being taken off life support.

“I brought my wife Valentine’s flowers for the last time today because I buy them every year for her,” the victim’s husband, Robert Meyers, told CNN affiliate KSNV. “And I can’t do that no more because of this senseless act.”

Meyers’ grieving son, Matthew, is struggling to make sense of what happened.

“She did not deserve to get shot in the head for teaching my little sister how to drive,” Matthew told KSNV. “She’s the mother of four. She was a grandmother of one. My son’s only one year and two months and now I gotta deal with my son growing up without knowing his grandmother.”

Meyers’ killer was still on the run Monday, and police are hoping the surveillance footage of the car may help track him down. According to police, the four-door vehicle may have possible damage on the front driver’s side. Police say it’s also possible the car has impact rounds from gunfire.

Witnesses say three men were inside the vehicle. One is described as a white male, approximately 25 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. Police say he also has spiked dirty blond hair and blue or hazel eyes.
