Janet Jackson Is Pregnant With 1st Child, Days Before Her 50th birthday

Janet Jackson is pregnant with her first child, a source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight.

The news comes after the 49-year-old singer announced last month she was postponing her tour to start a family.

“We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change,” Jackson said in a video posted to Twitter on April 6. “I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”

Jackson secretly wed Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana in 2012 but didn’t confirm the news until early 2013.

Jackson will celebrate her 50th birthday on May 16.
