An innovative food designer teamed up with a Syracuse University sculpture designer to grill steaks in an innovative way — over a bed of molten lava.
“You get a really thick char on the outside which, frankly, tastes delicious,” said Sam Bompas. “And when cut into it medium-rare, it’s juicy and unctuous.”
