Red Lobster and Flavor Flav team up for Crabfest announcement

Red Lobster is making it known that they are here to stay by teaming up with rapper Flavor Flav to announce the return of Crabfest.

After the chain revealed it filed for bankruptcy in May, Flavor Flav took to social media to share that he had visited a Red Lobster location and ordered the whole menu in an attempt to save the popular restaurant.

“We love seeing our fans show up and rally for us, so when Flavor Flav reached out, we answered the call and invited him to join us in reminding fans we’re here to stay,” Sara Bittorf, chief experience officer at Red Lobster, said in a statement.

During Crabfest, guests can order a full pound of steamed wild-caught crab legs with the flavor options or simply steamed. Red Lobster is also offering new crab-centric dishes like the new creamy crab carbonara, crab and lobster duo, snow crab and crab-topped steaks, and crab mac and cheese, all of which have a starting price of $20.

The complete menu can be viewed here.

Crabfest at Red Lobster will run for a limited time.
