Robert Dale Schrader, of Littlerock, was arrested Monday on two counts of production of child pornography, according to a news release from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The investigation into Schrader began Jan. 29 after British authorities discovered that “an individual using a Yahoo email account had sent multiple sexually explicit images of an infant to an undercover officer in England,” according to the criminal complaint.

Data embedded in those images indicated they had been taken in the vicinity of Schrader’s Littlerock home, the release stated.

Investigators located the infant seen in the images during a search of Schrader’s home. At that time, the boy was turned over to child services.

“This is one of the youngest, if not the youngest, child pornography victims ever identified in the Los Angeles area,” said Claude Arnold, special agent in charge for Homeland Security Investigations in Los Angeles.

The search also uncovered additional evidence potentially linked to the case, including children’s clothing and computer equipment, the release stated.

If convicted on both counts, Schrader faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a possible maximum sentence of 60 years.
